Every great healthcare team has someone who quietly keeps everything running behind the scenes, and at Pastorie Clinic, that person is Melissa Sauls. It seems only fitting that her surname is Sauls, because she has truly become the heart and soul of our clinic. Her warmth, dedication, and welcoming smile set the tone from the moment patients walk through our doors.

With a phone in one hand and a welcoming smile on her face, Melissa expertly manages the daily challenge of coordinating appointments, ensuring that every patient receives the care they need while helping consultations run as efficiently as possible. She skilfully pieces together the daily puzzle of fitting patients into the doctors' and nurses' schedules, allowing the clinical team to focus on what they do best—providing exceptional patient care.

Melissa first joined Pastorie Clinic as a student while completing the practical component of her Medical Secretary qualification. She quickly became an invaluable part of the team—and she never left. Today, she continues to play an essential role in creating the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that has become part of the Pastorie Clinic experience.

During the colder winter months, you'll often find Melissa making sure the fireplace is burning, creating a warm and cosy space for patients and staff alike. Although she is always the first to admit that she is “always cold,” she makes sure everyone else feels comfortable and at home.

Outside of work, Melissa loves nothing more than taking long drives in her little car, exploring new places and enjoying the freedom of the open road. Whether she's discovering a hidden country road or simply taking in the scenery, these adventures are her favourite way to relax and recharge before returning to the clinic with her trademark smile.
