Long before the clinic opened its doors, Daphne stood alongside the founder, helping turn an idea into reality. What began in a little boy's bedroom, converted into a temporary office, became the starting point of a vision that would one day grow into Pastorie Clinic. Through countless hours of hard work, determination, and unwavering belief, Daphne helped lay the foundations of the practice that serves the Greyton community today.

In those early days, Daphne wore many hats. She managed reception, scheduled appointments, handled patient billing, organised staff duty rosters, completed banking and stock orders, prepared tax returns, and navigated the many registrations, legal requirements, and administrative processes involved in establishing a new healthcare practice. She also played a key role in finding the clinic's home and shared in the hope and faith that the resources would come together to make the vision a reality.

As the clinic grew, Daphne remained at its heart. She was instrumental in the search for the right doctor to lead the practice, and today, as Pastorie Clinic continues to expand its services, she remains a constant source of wisdom, encouragement, and support for the entire team.

Daphne has an extraordinary ability to make time for everyone. Whether helping a colleague through a difficult day, solving a complex administrative challenge, or quietly offering words of encouragement, she brings calm, kindness, and unwavering dedication to everything she does. It is no exaggeration to say that she is often the glue that holds the team together.

Her caring nature extends far beyond the walls of the clinic. Deeply involved in the Greyton community, Daphne generously gives her time to local initiatives, meetings, and those who need a helping hand. Despite her busy schedule, her greatest joy is spending time with her wonderful family, whose love and support have been a constant source of strength throughout the clinic's journey.
